Monthly Birthday Bags
– Provide approximately 25-30 small gift bags with items (small
notepads, pencils, pens, stickers, candy, etc.) for student birthdays
during the month. Dr Scott Cashion provides a toothbrush and toothpaste
for each child. This monthly opportunity can also be shared within small
groups or with another person.
Snacks for Staff Meetings – Prepare and drop off light snacks for staff meetings held the first Tuesday of each month from 3-4 pm. Great opportunity for a small group or to share with a friend!
Gifts for Parents – Provide unused, unopened giveaways for the school to use to reward parent involvement. Any of those unused items in the closet like bath items, candles, kitchen items, and stationery are ideal.
Serve as a Prayer
Partner – Partner with a staff or faculty member and pray
regularly for their specific needs, concerns and the school.
Collect Box Tops for Education – Cut and save Box Tops for Education found on General mills products. There is a collection box in the church office. The school earns money for each label they submit!
Link Reward Cards - Harris Teeter and other local stores allow individuals to link their reward cards to specific schools. Simply link your card(s) to Washington Elementary School and the school earns money!
