Your Match Capital Campaign Fund
God works in wonderful ways
to provide for the needs of His faithful people. In one of the most
pressing financial times for West Market Street United Methodist Church,
God has provided a solution.
Our church has incurred debt as a result of some solid investments, and
also as a result of some unexpected but expensive repairs to our
historic facility. Our lenders have been both patient and supportive,
but in the current credit climate, they can no longer delay amortizing
our principal amount.
In order to meet this obligation, West Market has undertaken a capital
campaign to pay as much of this debt as possible this year. This capital
campaign has a single purpose: to eliminate our congregational debt. The
total amount owed is $2,335,000. Although pledges can be paid over the
next three year period, in an effort to reduce the amount to be
financed, we hope many of our members will do their best to pay as much
as possible before we go to the bank in September.

One of the most generous and faithful couples in our congregation, Royce
and Jane Reynolds, fully understand how important this effort will be to
our congregation's future. They also fully understand that West Market
is undertaking this campaign in very difficult financial times for so
many of us. Royce and Jane have offered to match every dollar that each
of us gives to this campaign
In terms of finances and faith, we must find a way to meet this match!
