Church Administrator
A West Market Street UMC member since 1992, Greg joined the church staff in March 2021 as the Church Administrator. Before joining the church administrative staff, Greg volunteered regularly in many areas of the church, including the Modern Service, the online services, and IT support. Originally from Kingsport, Tennessee, Greg graduated from Wake Forest University (‘82, BS Business Administration), where he also met his wife, Lennis.
Greg has extensive experience in operational, financial, and personnel management. Most recently, he worked for 23 years as Director of Information Technology for a large regional law firm based in Greensboro; he previously worked in Winston-Salem and Charlotte. He has served on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Greensboro, has volunteered regularly with multiple other community organizations, and is a member of professional Information Technology and law organizations.
Greg and Lennis have lived in Greensboro since 1990. They have three adult children, Grant (Winston-Salem), Caroline (Winston-Salem), and Taylor (Anaheim, CA).
